Anna Norris is a software engineer and a mother of two daughters: one is a sophomore at the University of North Texas, and the other is a junior at Flour Bluff High School. She moved to the area in 2023 to be closer to her parents on the island, and the location of her new home was largely influenced by Flour Bluff ISD.
Upon moving, she quickly became involved with the school community by coordinating the Star Wars Day 5K. Last year, she served as the president of the Flour Bluff High School Community Boosters, and this year she holds the position of treasurer.
Before relocating from San Antonio, Anna lived in Kerrville. There she was active in her community, participating in Kerrville Junior Service Guild and the Hill Country Charity Ball. She also earned a Master’s degree in Education and taught high school math before returning to her career in technology.
